Uh oh! The skies have just turned incredibly dark over St. Cloud, Minnesota. This may be the beginning of the end...

(Or maybe it's just an ordinary thunderstorm. Mmm, I love that T-storm smell in the air.)

acutally, the end of the world as we know (not neccessarily armageddon though) will happen on December 21st, 2012.

And, its mathetmatically proven.

Sensationalist Media Journalism is great, isn't it? For the longest time, everyone was hung up on asteroids. It seemed like every week, i'd be looking at the news headlines on my start up page and see something like "Asteroid to collide with the Earth, everyone will die." You'd go and read the article, and then say "this is a possible outcome a few hundred years from now, and scientists later admitted that the asteroid would miss by a few thousand miles anyway, but we just figured we would attempt to SHOCK and AWE you!" The current flavor of the month is how the new Pope apparently fits some doomsday prophecies, just like the month before that, everywhere on Earth was getting hit by magnitude 9 earthquakes, and then everyone in China all jumped at the same time and sent us spiraling out of orbit ... every day, drawing us ever nearer to the sun and our eventual death like lobsters in a pot.

I'm sure next month, we're all going to die at the hands of a murderous Teletubby invasion, and the month after that, there'll be a pandemic where everyone affected turns into either George, Lizzie, or Ralph.. and we'll all go on a Rampage, senselessly punching buildings and eating people until we get shot down by those bloody annoying helicopters..

The whole thing is kind of depressing for all the wrong reasons, really. It makes me wonder if people are so fixated on dying because they're too afraid to truly live.

It's not "which crafts", it's "witchcraft". Consult your local coven for a charm against evil popes.

Now, 5/5/5 would strike me as a very important date for Discordians. However, on the Discordian calendar, today is Setting Orange, the 52nd day of Discord in the YOLD 3171. Nothing terribly special about that...

actually, it's not 666... read here. longer bit about it here .

Ah, in that case, Armageddon is scheduled for June 1st, 2006. Or January 6th, 2006, depending on whether you're in Europe or America.

Having just five senses is boring. If truly living involves transcending our experience of reality, im all for it. But I doubt you'll be living in any conventional sense anymore.

Anyhow, look for me in the big crowd storming offices and government facilities in 2012. Damn the Man.

Actually, some scientists say the world could "possibly'' end within a few thousand years. If there is a natural shift of the magnetic poles, it can cause the earth to wobble and start spinning on a new axis. The resulting change in gravitational forces will cause the ocean to swallow a few continents here and there, but new bodies of land should also rise from the surface. The icecaps, however, won't take kindly to being pushed under a new equator, causing an epic flood that will most likely kill us all, that is if we somehow survive the massive earthquakes and earth's atmosphere being ignited into a giant fireball.

I wonder if they could make that into a movie.

6 billion years is all we have left really. Then the sun turns into a red giant and consumes a few planets including ours.

Naw, we just move the planet into a higher orbit. And engineer some furry, kitten-headed snakes.

Here is an easier way to say it.

Armageddon will happen in the future till it becomes present.

That covers it all I think.

We're fine over here, with only one hour and one minute left until the danger has passed. It's my Greyhound's fifth birthday, so we both had ice cream. Not bad, for the day of Armageddon.
